Jon Tjemsland
I’m a hands-on software architect and engineering leader with more than 20 years of experience designing, building, and operating production software systems. My work spans distributed systems, platform architecture, technical direction, and modern SaaS product development.
I work at the intersection of architecture and execution: clarifying technical direction, helping teams make durable decisions, and staying close enough to the implementation to understand the trade-offs in practice.
I’m particularly interested in technical leadership roles where architecture, product development, modernization, and engineering execution overlap.
And Mylo?
Mylo is the coffee-loving marmot mascot behind myLo—the home for development work around myLocal. With roots on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, he's a nod to the Olympic Marmot ( Marmota olympus) and the place we call home. Learn more about the Olympic Marmot.
